Bas de Chapelot comes from a small parcel of vines just below the Montée de Tonnerre Premier Cru. Unlike most modern Chablis, the wine is fermented with wild yeasts and sees some old oak (rather than just stainless steel). The result is a wonderful wine with weight and balance, plus the freshness and minerality so typical of the region.

Dominique Guyot produces this bright, rich, rounded Pouilly Fumé wine from mature rootstock on the coveted 'Les Loges' escarpment in the centre of this Loire appellation. With a bouquet of gooseberries and gun-flint and a fresh, zesty, mineral-edged palate with a persistent, dry finish.

This complex Chardonnay wine is charged with bags of stone fruit, flinty minerality and a hint of new oak. From 1.71ha of vines across 9 plots of clay-limestone , this Chardonnay from Bruno Colin is a great example of the classic mineral notes of Chassagne-Montrachet.

Goutte d'Or, which means drops of gold, is the furthest north of the top premier cru vineyards. 2017 is a brilliant vintage for white Burgundy and this demonstrates the energy, precision and classic nature of this year. With fresh and chiselled notes of freshly baked patisserie, wet stone and ripe citrus. 20-25% new oak and occasional lees stirring. A very authentic, terroir-driven Meursault 1er cru.
